Global Investments Intl, DBA: Global Protection and Investigations, DBA GPI Defense, (hereinafter known as “GPI DEFENSE”) has created this Privacy Policy to inform you of its collection, use and disclosure practices regarding personal information that it collects through GPI DEFENSE Web Sites. This Privacy Policy applies only to data gathered on any web site under GPI DEFENSE’s control (collectively, the “Sites” as is defined in the Terms and Conditions) and does not apply to any other information or web site. This Privacy Policy incorporates by reference the Terms and Conditions for the Sites, which apply to this privacy policy. Please review this Privacy Policy periodically as we may update it from time to time. Each time you visit the Sites or provide us with information, you are, by doing so, accepting the practices described in this Privacy Policy at that time. If we materially change our practices with regard to personal information collected under a prior privacy policy, we will endeavor to notify you and give you the opportunity to opt out of changes with regard to that previously collected information. You agree that by using the Sites you are expressly and affirmatively consenting to our use and disclosure of the information that you provide, and consenting to receive communications from us which include but are not limited to emails and facsimiles as described below.

PERSONAL INFORMATION

In order to operate the Sites in an efficient and effective manner and provide users with information on security services that may be of interest to them, GPI DEFENSE may collect personal information, including contact information (including but not limited to name, email address, and phone number), from its users. In addition, this information allows us to provide users with the best user experience possible. We also automatically track certain information based upon your behavior on the Sites and use this information to do internal research on our users’ demographics, interests, and behavior to better understand, protect and serve users in general. This information may include the URL that a User has just come from (whether this URL is on our Sites or not), the URL a User goes to next (whether this URL is on our Sites or not), a user’s computer browser information, mouse clicks, mouse movements, scrolling activity, text that is typed and Users IP address. You agree that GPI DEFENSE may use your personal information to contact you and deliver information to you that, in some cases, is targeted to your interests (such as relevant services, advertisements, job postings, educational or other career development opportunities), or provide administrative notices or communications applicable to your use of the Sites. By accepting this Privacy Policy, you expressly agree to receive this information via email, facsimile or by any other mode of communication provided by you. If you do not wish to receive these communications, we encourage you to opt out of any further receipt by following the opt out provisions provided in each such communication. GPI DEFENSE may also aggregate certain non-personally identifiable information about its users (such as occupation, location, education and experience) and use such anonymous information to prepare reports that it provides to its Users. We have the right to use said email to send notifications to your inbox and to verify you on social media.

We do not sell our Users’ personally identifiable information to anyone for any reason. GPI DEFENSE reserves the right to retain Users’ personally identifiable information, applications and any other documents indefinitely.

GPI DEFENSE may also disclose specific user information when we determine that such disclosure is necessary to comply with the law, to cooperate with or seek assistance from law enforcement or to protect the interests or safety of GPI DEFENSE or other users of the Sites. In addition, personal information we have collected may be passed on to a third-party in the event of a transfer of ownership or assets or a bankruptcy of GPI DEFENSE. WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW

GPI DEFENSE cannot ensure that all of your private communications and other personal information will never be disclosed in ways not otherwise described in this Privacy Policy. Therefore, although we are committed to protecting your privacy, we do not promise, and you should not expect, that your personal information or private communications will always remain private. As a User of the Sites, you understand and agree that you assume all responsibility and risk for your use of the Sites, the Internet generally, and the documents and/or material you post or access and for your conduct on and off the Sites.

 

YOUR CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS

California law permits its residents to request and receive information about a business’ disclosure of certain categories of personal information to other companies for their use in direct marketing. If you are a California resident and a user of any of the Sites, you can request a copy of this information from GPI DEFENSE in writing at 6046 FM 2920 #329, Spring, TX 77379. YOUR RIGHTS

You have the right to, at any time, receive a copy of the personal data that we hold about you and information about the processing. Please note that GPI DEFENSE needs to, in order to be able to answer your request, be able to determine your identity.

You have the right to, without undue delay, have incorrect, incomplete or irrelevant personal data about you corrected.

You have the right to have your personal data deleted without undue delay and GPI DEFENSE is obliged to delete your personal data without undue delay if, for example one of the following grounds applies: the personal data are no longer necessary in relation to the purpose for which they were collected or otherwise processed, or if you withdraw consent on which the processing is based and where there is no other legal ground for the processing. Please note that we are not obliged to delete the personal data if we can show that the processing is necessary, for example, for compliance with a legal obligation to which GPI DEFENSE is subject or the establishment, exercise or defense of a legal claim, or when there are other legitimate grounds to keep the data.

Furthermore, you have the right to request that GPI DEFENSE restricts the processing of your personal data under certain conditions, for example if you contest the accuracy of the personal data, the processing may be restricted for a period enabling GPI DEFENSE to verify the accuracy of the personal data or if GPI DEFENSE no longer needs the personal data for the purposes of the processing but you require the personal data for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims.

You have the right to object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, at any time to GPI DEFENSE’s processing of your personal data if the processing is based on, for example, legitimate interests, including marketing and/or profiling based on a legitimate interest. If you object to such processing, GPI DEFENSE will no longer be entitled to process your personal data based on such legal basis, unless GPI DEFENSE can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which overrides your interests, rights and freedom or if it is conducted for the establishment, exercise or defense of a legal claim.

You have, under certain conditions, the right to receive the personal data concerning you and which you have provided to GPI DEFENSE, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and have the right to transmit such personal data to another data controller without GPI DEFENSE trying to prevent this, where GPI DEFENSE’s processing of your personal data is based on your consent or on a contract and the processing is carried out by automated means. You have in such case the right to request that the personal data from GPI DEFENSE shall be transmitted directly to another data controller, where technically feasible.

You also have the right to, at any time, withdraw your consent given to GPI DEFENSE for the processing of your personal data. If you withdraw your consent, please note that this does not affect the lawfulness of the processing based on your consent before its withdrawal and that GPI DEFENSE may, under certain circumstances, have another legal ground for the processing and therefore may be entitled to continue the processing. Please also note that if you withdraw your consent, GPI DEFENSE may not be able to fulfill your request for information.

If you are unhappy with our processing of your personal data and/or consider it to be in contrary to applicable legislation you may lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory data protection authority (“DPA”) (such as with the DPA in your country of residence, the DPA in the country of your place of work or the DPA in the country where the alleged infringement has occurred).
