Bridging gaps between people & police
Over the last several years, GPI Defense has partnered with the Klein ISD Police Department to host the Holiday Heroes event to help provide a Christmas experience for in-need kids they’ll never forget.
Knowing that this is the only Christmas many of these kids will have, our founder Troy Skeen would like to thank the staff of GPI Defense that work tirelessly every year to help make this event possible.
This year, we had four large busloads of kids, and as you can see in the video, Santa and Mrs. Clause made an appearance and even brought along a couple of reindeer and an elf.
And then the Grinch showed up and started causing all kinds of mischief!
Just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, Nathan Milner of Unspeakable Media came by and put huge smiles on everyone’s faces.
Human Trafficking
Fighting Modern-day Slavery
Roughly two million children are trafficked annually, an unfortunate reality that GPI Defense takes very seriously.
Troy and the team have been considering GPI Defense joining the fight for the last couple of years, but it wasn’t until The Sound of Freedom hit theaters that we knew we had no choice.
That is why GPI Defense is proud to announce that we will contribute $1 per billable hour towards the fight to end human trafficking.
In order to provide some perspective, just 100 of our security officers working 40 hours per week means we will contribute $4,000 per week (or $208k per year) to the fight.
